Cool New Retro Couch and other stories

Wow, we finally got rid of our other couch! Yay, it was hori old thing, all faded pastels, very early nineties/late eighties. The couch cover was worth five times more than it was! And it went because we find another new-old one! It was at Sally Army for $195 and they had a 1/2 price sale that day so it was down to $97.50 plus $10 delivery and when they came to drop it off, they took away the other one (minus the couch cover) for free :) Woohoo, what a great feeling. I can't tell you why but I wa sgetting obsessional about the other one. it just so didn't fit in with our decor which is quite retro. It's for olive green upholstery and is made of brown wood and folds out to a double bed. It was mad ein the 60s but is in such good nick.

Jamie came over, he and Andrew (my hubs) have been working on his CD 'Jamie Strange with Oneday Someday). They printed 50 cd covers off today which looked awesome - really pro on Andrew's new computer. I told Andrew that I thought Jamie wouldn't notice our new couch (he's very very focussed on his creative projects - they both are) but it was the first thing he noticed! Good for boys!

Ok well I'm gonna gop have a wee sleep, feel a bit fluey. For those of you who don't know I've had Chronic Fatigue Syndrome for 8 years (since I was 17) and although I'm heaps better, I get really tired easily. Books and DVds are my friend :)
