The Kestrel and the Pigs

Ok, well yesterday my sister, Debs (who's an amazing and beautiful person) took me out to The Kestrel for dinner. It's a beautiful old boat like on Death on the Nile and we had a window overlooking the sea. We were in one of those moods where everything just seems hysterical. We both laugh at the most inappropriate times, I think it's becausae you're thinking "now would be the worst possible time to laugh" and so the tension builds and you just lose it. Well the waiter came over and he started pouring our bottle of *Sparkling Grape Juice* as if it was a thousand dollar champagne and it was going trickle, trickle so slowly down the side of the glass (and it reminded me of something else) so I felt my shoulders shaking and I looked over at Debs and her face had gone red and her shoulders were shaking too and then she just spat out her laugh all of a sudden and we errupted into hysterics but the guy just went really shy and pretended that nothing had happened so we felt terrible! :)
Today I took Wilma, Elspeth and Martha Stamfordis (guinea pigs) to the vet for their "cheesy ears" (mmm....nice), went to the library and had lunch with Andrew at Encore which is a nice, fresh new cafe right in the centre of town and then I went to my tutorial and supermarket shopping then home! Now I'm going to go and read a Ruth Rendell book.
God bless you all, all you people who won't read this blog :)

Annie :)
